Established in 2011, Nadine Aucamp is an international wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa. With over 15 years of experience, Nadine is the chosen photographer by locals and international clients for incorporating Cape Town's natural beauty, embracing vibrant colours, and use of golden light. Ek is 'n Afrikaanse plaasmeisie van Paarl and as a 90's kid, born and raised in the Cape Winelands, I've got a deep love for wine, sunsets, and mountains. Especially when you're able to enjoy all three with friends and family. I cherish these moments, big and small, and nothing brings me more joy than being able to capture moments like these.

I've been addicted to photography since I received my first digital point-and-shoot camera at the age of 16. I was fortunate enough to study photography for two years, and three months after I graduated I photographed my first wedding and I've never looked back.

On a personal note, the simple things in life bring me the greatest joy. I am a wine lover, tee drinker, movie enthusiast, sokkie meester, morning person, laud laugher, a shorty with a keen eye for detail with the most diverse taste in music. I love; love, animals, nature, and everything that's unique, different, and filled to the brim with sentimental or nostalgic value.

My fear of running late means I'm always on location super early. I appreciate honesty & authenticity and I like to think you'd see that in my work as well! I am the best hype woman and cheerleader you'll ever need, ensuring you feel like a million bucks while being photographed.

I love Cape Town, sunshine, cats, cameras, love, laughter, happy dances, high-fives, hugs and so much more.

What you really need to know


I'm absolutely obsessed with my job, yet I hate talking about myself and will freeze like a deer in headlights when you point a camera in my direction. I'm boomer-level allergic to social media, but I do try my best to post very inconsistently. I might be the most awkward person on earth with a weird sense of humour (warning: I do tend to serenade while shooting) but that's the real blessing in disguise because my awkwardness will trump your awkwardness every time! We'll be laughing and chatting within seconds after starting the shoot! I take personal pride in converting photoshoot haters into photoshoot lovers. I believe photo shoots should be a joyful, fun, carefree experience, full of belly laughs, love, hugs, and kisses. I want you to focus on the moment you're in, the person you're with, and I'll make sure to capture the moment and the emotions in HD quality.
